The Linhay has been lovingly created from a former derelict cattle shed just adjacent to the owners own home in St Tudy. The high quality open plan interior features the original slate slabs and granite pillars from the cattle shed and offers spectacular views of the garden and large pond which in itself is a haven for wildlife.
Open ALL YEAR under the owners personal supervision, The Linhay offers the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
The Linhay is centrally heated with a large open plan living-room and also a log fire to cheer you up on those occasional chilly evenings. There is a wide-screen colour T.V. (with Freeview), iPod docking station, DVD, radio and CD player and pay phone. A collection of reference books, local maps, tourist information, beautiful books on Cornwall are there for guests to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, automatic washer/dryer and dish washer.
From the main window is a spectacular view of the garden with a large pond and stream that encourages much wildlife. Shower room with state of the art digitally controlled shower, Villeroy and Boch W.C. and hand basin, and heated towel rail. The bedroom has a King-size bed and duvet, radiator and views over the garden.

Road
Take the A30 through Okehampton & Launceston. Leave the A30 just after Launceston at Kennards House (new roundabouts) - follow signs for Wadebridge & Camelford & A 395. Continue on A 395 until you reach the A39 just after Davidstow – turn left at T junction. Continue through Camelford and then turn left on to the B3266. Carry on for approx 4 ½ miles. Keep a look out for some large greenhouses on your right hand side. Turn right (the turning is opposite one of the entrances to Hengar Manor). Continue until you reach T junction, turn right and follow the road through center of village, keep church on your left, continue down Redvale Rd, down steep hill, at the bottom take left fork and The Oaks Barn & Linhay are first on your left.
