Hendra Paul Cottages

Hendra Paul Cottages are a charming cluster of 4 detached, beamed cottages, equipped to highest standard, some 4 poster beds, furnished in a country- cottage style. They were lovely old barns cleverly converted, slowly over the years, on Hendra Paul Farm. We have 54 acres and a livery yard here. There is plenty of space here to have a country walk, explore or have a picnic. We are in a quiet location, not far from the beach. Situated 1 mile as the seagull flies from Porth beach, up the pretty Porth valley.

The smallest cottage, Wild Flower, has a lovely four poster bedroom, en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath/shower, large lounge/diner and open plan kitchen. This cottage sleeps 2 plus a baby. This is a beautiful honeymoon cottage and we include flowers and wine.

Secondly is Badgers Sett, a lovely 2 bedroom cottage, sleeping 2 to 4. Large lounge dining room and open plan kitchen. Super new bathroom with roll top bath/shower and a small laundry room. This cottage is ideal for young families, or a couple. These two cottages are all on the ground floor, so no stairs at all.

Next is Spiders Web Cottage, with its lovely Art Deco window of a spiders web! Upstairs it has a lovely large galleried bedroom with a king size bed and a pretty en-suite bathroom. Downstairs is the comfortable lounge, then the kitchen /dining room. Off of here are steps down to 2 further bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom, with P shaped bath with shower. This cottage sleeps 5 comfortably and 6 if a small child sharing the galleried bedroom.

Lastly is the largest cottage, Barn Owl, which sleeps up to 8, in 4 bedrooms. Downstairs are two bedrooms, a double and a room with 2 singles. A large, beautifully fitted kitchen, a separate, large dining room with old oak refectory table and chairs. There is a shower room and a further bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is the large, comfortable sitting room and 2 further bedrooms, a double and a twin room.

We have Plasma screen televisions, DVD players, dish washers, washing machines in all the cottages and a tumble dryer in two of them.

We do not take groups of boys/girls here and sorry, no pets/smoking.

Each cottage has its own patio and barbeque.

We have a large grass play area for ball games, tennis and the like. Also a children’s slide.

The Eden Project is approximately 20 minutes drive away.

Many pubs and restaurants in the area, such as in Newquay, Watergate Bay, St Mawgan, Porth and Crantock.
