GOLD AWARD - BED AND BREAKFAST/GUEST ACCOMMODATION OF THE YEAR, CORNWALL TOURISM AWARDS 2012
Our beautifully presented family run luxury country guest house offers bed & breakfast at its best. This enchanting and elegant residence was originally constructed in 1870 for the Bishop of Truro, and has an exciting history with many respected individuals having stayed here over the years. It nestles in the centre of beautifully manicured grounds and is approached by its own sweeping driveway leading to ample off road parking. The stylish interiors and fine antique furnishings are sympathetic to the age and prominence of the house. We have combined these, with modern comforts, and most importantly a very warm and friendly welcome.
We are proud to offer only locally sourced ingredients for our extra special breakfasts, and also for our menu of the day in the evening. We can tailor the menu around your preferences and present a basic homely meal or a 4 course extravaganza. We are fully licensed, so you can select a drink from our honesty bar which is available 24hrs a day. Why drive when you can have fantastic evening with us? Before dinner you may choose to stroll around our lovely mature gardens, or maybe take a drink and sit by one of our lawns and lap up the evening sun. We look forward to welcoming you here for a memorable stay.
