Spinnaker

Spinnaker Cottages, Self-catering

Spinnaker is a charming 18th Century Grade II listed cottage nestled within the picturesque and peaceful conservation area on West Looe Hill. It enjoys the benefits of a pretty enclosed garden with distant views of the coast and has its own garage. You can be sure of a clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage complete with crisp, clean bed-linen plus our special welcome pack on arrival.

A few minutes walk down West Looe Hill and you find yourself on the quayside with its shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Take a short walk up to Hannafore where you can play tennis, go bowling or try your skills on two putting greens. The views from this part of Looe are superb looking out across the bay and over to Looe Island and the shoreline is great for rock pooling.

Leave the car and catch a bus to Polperro, Polruan or Plymouth. Hop on the train and explore the lovely Looe Valley line up to Liskeard and beyond or take a boat trip and explore the rugged coastline either side of the harbour.

East Looe, just across the water, has a good mix of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Its sandy beach is popular with families and a meander through the old narrow streets takes you back in time as you walk amongst the old fisherman’s cottages. A visit to the towns museum, contained in the medieval Guildhall, is a fascinating way to delve back into the past of the town with its haunted cells and varied exhibits.
