All our rooms have been designed to provide perfect beach living. Relaxed, barefoot comfort, fresh, coastal colours, all the right technology and a stunning ocean side location make it easy to completely unwind.
We also offer some unique places to eat; each with a different menu, each with a completely different take on great, local produce. Visit the hotel’s award winning dining room, The Living Space which is the perfect place to take a break from the beach and chill out with incredible views over the whole of the bay; The Beach Hut, one of Cornwall’s best beach side hang outs, and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall.
All our guests receive membership to Swim Club throughout the duration of their stay which features our new 25-metre ocean-view infinity pool, pool side terraces and Canadian hot tub, a café-bar, cardio room, a studio for Pilates and cardio cycle classes, three treatment rooms plus a manicure and pedicure room overlooking the bay. Swim Club is all about relaxing and being active in equal measure.
If you want to be really active you can take surf, kiting, wave ski and even hand planing lessons through the Extreme Academy or just hire the equipment if you would prefer. Our sports school provides hot showers, changing facilities and secure lockers for everyone taking part in our lessons.
There’s so much going on for kids of all ages at Watergate Bay. Each day is a big adventure with fantastic organised activities, evening entertainment, our ‘Kids’ Zone’ and the XA Club where they can play safely and meet new friends. And, with two miles of amazing sandy beach right outside the door, you and your children will never want to go home.
Watergate Bay is a great place for dogs too, it has a two mile beach which is dog friendly all year round and some of our rooms are dog friendly. The hotel's Living Space and The Beach Hut welcome dogs while you dine.
