Broom Farm Cottage
Broom Farm Cottage Cottages, Self-catering
Broom Farm Cottage is a comfortable, detached cottage, converted from a traditional single storey granite barn. It is the sole letting unit on a 3 acre smallholding, so is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday or for an out of season break. The cottage is well furnished and the bedroom sleeps two, with a recently refurbished en-suite bathroom.(Pets are welcome, by prior arrangement) The lounge, kitchen/diner has a full size cooker, microwave and fridge. Adjoining the cottage is a covered car space, which leads to a patio with garden furniture. The patio overlooks one of our meadows. At the end of the lane is a general store, a village pub and a fish and chip shop. Buses to Falmouth or to Penzance stop opposite the pub. A mile away is the sea at picturesque Prussia Cove with beautiful coastal walks leading to the nearby sandy beaches of Mounts Bay. Inland, footpaths, bridleways and lanes cross the gentle countryside between the south and north coast. St Ives is 9 miles away, Penzance 5 miles away and the Eden Project, although 50 miles away, is easily reached. Broom Farm provides a convenient base from which to explore the whole of southwest Cornwall. Open all year.
