Family holidays at their very best...

Camping can be a very enriching experience for children and offers many families the space and sense of freedom that modern day living can curtail. However, as we know from personal experience, family holidays can also be quite stressful so knowing that the ‘little things’ are taken care of can make the experience so much more enjoyable and relaxing for the whole family!

Family shower rooms with adjustable water temperature and pressure. Two half-size baths, complete with shower hoses to rinse soapy hair (for children five years and under). Three baby changing tables. Fully-equipped laundry room (to keep on top of that never ending pile of dirty laundry!)

Outdoor children’s play area including an amazing bespoke pirate ship and tractor and trailer slide for the little ones. We also have some exciting new rope play additions to the play area for 2022 including a large net climbing pyramid with connecting bridge to a bird's nest tower. There is also a new bird's nest swing and Viking swing for lots of inclusive play options and fun. Large sports area for ball games and kite flying. Games room with table tennis, pool tables and table football*

St Ives is renowned for its fabulous beaches with sparkling turquoise seas and soft golden sand. All of the main beaches are lifeguarded (Porthminster, Porthmeor and Carbis Bay) and all benefit from good facilities. Carbis Bay and Porthminster offer more sheltered bathing while Porthmeor is a great spot for surfing and body boarding. The harbour is also a firm favourite for little ones who love splashing and puddle jumping! All of the town beaches (not Carbis Bay) are within an approx. 10 minute walk from the bus stop.

Cornwall has many family friendly, world renowned attractions and activities as well as hidden coves to explore, short walks, cinemas (for those wet days!) and fabulous places to eat where children are well catered for. Our staff will be more than happy to provide information and make recommendations, print tickets/passes, and point you in the direction of any money saving vouchers!

One of the very best campsites anywhere! We have been to this campsite before and loved it. We have taken our campervan all over Europe, but this is one of the very best sites anywhere. The pitches are large and private, the facilities are spotless and excellent and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The campsite shop and bus service to St. Ives are also very helpful. We walked the coast path to St. Ives (many granite stiles but lovely). Also a short walk to access the open topped Coaster which means you can visit many other places on this beautiful peninsular. A really wonderful stay- thank you.
