Pentewan - map

Pentewan is a coastal village and former port in South Cornwall at the mouth of the St Austell River. The village and its harbour date back to medieval times, when Pentewan was mainly a fishing community, with some stone-quarrying, tin-streaming, and agriculture. Popular as a holiday resort with local pubs, restaurants, galleries and shops along with a large sandy beach.
