Enjoy breakfast in the sun bathed conservatory or when the weather is warm on the south facing deck. Relax with a summer sunset and a glass of chilled wine in our secluded gardens. Experience a candle lit dinner with locally sourced produce in front of a crackling log fire in our unique garden dining shack.
Pamper yourself with a Thai Yoga massage in the Tipi, or reflexology in the “stables”. As your hosts Janie and Michael put it “ you’ll be so relaxed you’ll forget what day of the week it is” !
La Stone therapy, Indian Head Massage and Shiatsu are also on offer along with a range of beauty treatments. The fully equipped gym is perfect for an energising work out, and followed by a bubble in the hot tub under the stars you’ll feel rejuvinated.
To complete your holiday the contemporary, individually designed rooms offer every comfort - crisp linen, plasma screen, DVD player, drinks fridge. The Hayloft Apartment is fully accessible also for guests with disabilities, it has 2 en suite bathrooms. All rooms will accommodate twins or singles. Directions
By road:
FROM the A30, Take the A391 to St Austell. Turn right onto the A390. Pass ASDA, on your left, straight through the traffic lights. Take the next left - B3273 - to Mevagissey. After Pentewan Camp site, turn right at the crossroads at the top of the hill, signposted to Heligan & Gorran Haven. Follow this road until sharp left hand bend. Turn right on bend (following Brown Sign) through Pengrugla, follow this road and take the third right - approx 1 mile (Brown Sign). Drive up the lane, Lower Barn is on the left-hand side.
By public transport:
Lower Barn's country location is not served by public transport. The nearest Bus Route/Destination is at The Lost Gardens of Heligan - about one-and-a-half miles from Lower Barn. First Cornwall Bus No.26. Western Greyhound No.526
