Sands Resort Hotel in Cornwall, sits on the cliff top overlooking over the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the countryside of the Porth valley to the east. Between Padstow and Newquay above Watergate Bay (home of the Extreme Academy and Jamie Olivers "Fifteen" restaurant)
Sands is a private family run hotel offering a great location, loads of facilities, a relaxing spa and a genuinely child friendly destination where parents can relax. Our Ocean Breeze Spa offers a range of therapies and treatments to help you relax and unwind whilst your children have fun.
Above all Sands is known for the friendliness of the staff and the genuine child friendly nature of the facilities, services and rooms. And kids just love our children's club's, play areas, maze and sports facilities. There is plenty of space and activity areas for children to use up their energy and make friends.
Bedrooms are 2 room suites with separate children's sleeping areas, baby listening, fridge and tea making facilities. Dinner can be taken as a couple or with the family and for early eaters children's teas are served at 5 o'clock each evening.
Sports facilities include swimming pools, tennis, croquet, football, basketball, 9 holes of golf, gym and sauna, all of which are complimentary.
With 2 beaches close by why not borrow some surf equipment from our "surf shack" and give it a go, and for the adventurous we are only minutes away from adventure activities on Watergate and Lusty Glaze beach including power-kiting, surfing, kayaking, abseiling and coasteering.
There are great days out, cycling to Padstow, boat trips, the Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium...whatever the weather there's loads to do.
