Narrow alleyways, cobbled streets and pedestrian zones put the fun back into the art of shopping, especially when they host a maze of arts and crafts, local markets, antiques, unusual boutiques and a plethora of surf and beachwear goods.

For a wide selection of Cornwall's offerings spend a day in the city of Truro; art-lovers should steer to St Ives; antique hunters head to Lostwithiel, and for that something special you can't beat Falmouth's eclectic cluster of local arts, nautical novelties and contemporary boutiques.
