There's always something happening in Cornwall.  From being voted visitor favourite in surveys to playing host to film crews and international journalists, it's certainly a county capturing people's imagination.

April 2010 - Cornish Businesses Win at the 2010 Enjoy England for Excellence Awards - Trethem Mill Touring Park near St Mawes has won Gold for Caravan Holiday Park of the Year.  Caravan holidays are enjoying a huge surge in popularity, and the judges were looking for caravan parks that have boosted business by making the most of their distinctive appeal.

And the Silver prize for Best Tourism Experience of the Year was won by another Cornish business - Cornwall Classic Car Hire.  This category celebrates those businesses that provide an innovative customer experience within the tourism industry.

March 2010 - The latest news on Cornwall's music scene is that a group of shanty singers from Port Isaac called The Fisherman's Friends have just signed a million pound deal with the Universal label, home of Lady GaGa and Take That.  With the album released in April and appearances at Glastonbury and other festivals booked, who knows where this will lead! 

Alice in Wonderland Comes to Cornwall
Antony HouseMarch 2010 saw South East Cornwall catapulted onto the big screen with the release of Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ movie. The little-known treasure of Antony House which sits in a scheduled position on the beautiful Tamar Valley, played a starring role in the film and to celebrate the National Trust is offering a number of Alice themed events throughout 2010.
