We are situated in an idyllic, rural setting, just three miles from the picturesque fishing village of Looe and the beautiful beaches of the south Cornish coast. Our cottages provide accommodation for between two and five people, with friendly farm animals, a children's playground and a spa and sauna on site.

Hendra Farm Cottages attract a wide range of holiday makers all year round. As well as calm and seclusion, there is delightful four star self-catering accommodation that provides a taste of rural life with a twist. Visitors can choose from five charming converted cottages; all the properties are stylishly furnished with colour TV and video/DVD/CD players. Each cottage has its own lawn and patio and there are far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside.

In addition to substantial comfort and a beautiful setting, a key attraction for adults and children alike is a growing cast of friendly farm animals featuring Shire horses and their young, a herd of alpaca, sweet-toothed sheep and a host of ducks and chickens. Everyone is welcome when it comes to the daily feeding and grooming.

Located on the outskirts of the village of Pelynt, Hendra Farm is a convenient base for any self-catering break; within easy reach of some of the region's leading resorts and attractions including the Eden Project, historic houses such as Lanhydrock, Pencarrow and Cotehele and outstanding gardens such as Heligan. The area has a busy calendar of events including Looe's Festival of the Sea and Jazz Festival and there are regular exhibitions concerts and an annual carnival. many types of sport facilities including golf, canoeing, diving and surfing, are just a short drive away.

Road Directions

From Plymouth follow A38 to Dobwalls then take the A390 (St Austell). At East Taphouse, take the B3359 to Looe. Follow this road to Pelynt, at Parish Church take right turn to Lansallos/Polruan. After 3/4 mile turn left (signposted Hendra Farm) then turn immediately right and follow lane to end. Watch out for the bear......!
