Little Downderry offers 2 rooms; 1Double room with private bathroom and 1 Twin en suite room. The Twin en suite ground floor room has an adjoining lounge area. Littel Downderry is a rural farmhouse, just a few miles west of St Austell, midway between Heligan and Eden with easy access to both north & south coasts. Quiet, relaxing location.
The Twin accommodation comprises a lounge area with colour television. An archway leads through to the Twin en suite bedroom. There is both separate shower and bath. An additional bed is available for use in the bedroom or the lounge area, by arrangement. The accommodation is self-contained with its own access and our guests are free to come and go as they please. It is suitable for people wirth reduced mobility, please enquire.
The Double room, on the 1st floor, has a washbasin in the room and access to its own private bathroom. The room has a double aspect, with windows overlooking the garden to south and west.
Breakfast is taken in the farmhouse's dining room.
Situated a mile or so north of the A390, Little Downderry is midway between the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project and there are several other quality gardens within a short drive; Pine Lodge, Trewithen, Tregrehan, Lanhydrock etc. Cornwall's county town, Truro, is about 25 minutes further west and both north & south coasts are very easy to reach.

Directions
By road:
FROM the A30, take the A391 to St Austell. Turn right onto the A390. St Austell TIC is on the left-hand side a mile further by the JET service station.
FROM St Austell TIC, turn left onto the A390. Continue on this road, towards Truro. After about 4 miles, having entered a 50mph restriction, take the next turning right. Signposted Coombe and with a Brown Sign for May's Country Store.
After 1 mile turn left at the crossroads with a pillar box and grass triangle. After approximately 300 yards, you will see the sign for Little Downderry, turn left into their private drive. (Pass Downderry Manor).
By public transport:
From St Austell Rail/Bus Station, take the local bus service, First No.27, get off at Hewaswater
