Home / Cornwall Holiday - Accommodation in Cornwall / Orchard Lodge
Orchard Lodge offers pleasant, modern accommodation in double or twin rooms, all en-suite. The large and comfortable white-painted house, set in its own grounds, is found on the edge of the village on ancient Gunpool Lane, just a stone's throw from hidden-away High Street and Fore Street, one of the area's most charming, best-kept secrets. A ten minute stroll takes you to the historic harbour and coastpath.
There's always a cheerful welcome, great breakfasts featuring local produce including fish specialities; a lounge with a roaring open fire in the Winter and for Summer, a garden where you can unwind and relax. In a small coastal village of narrow roads and confined spaces, Orchard Lodge offers easy car parking whilst being handy for all local transport. The best pubs and restaurants are a few minutes' walk away. There's also a convenient shop and petrol filling station close by.
Geoff and Shelley, the new owners of Orchard Lodge, can advise on the places to go and the sights to see, as well as help with local information like public transport and shopping and, as keen walkers and cyclists, provide useful pointers towards the finest walks and rides. You'll also find helpful maps, guide books and leaflets on surrounding attractions both close by and a little further afield. There's secure storage for equipment and bicycles and can help with transport and luggage collection.
