Description

The Elms B and B is a magnificent Georgian house dating back to the 1920's. many of the fine original features have been lovingly maintained including wooden panels and old radiators and king size four poster bed. Although the majority of furnishings are modern to provide for the comfort of today's visitor, and the first class traditional English breakfast, will set you up the for day whatever you choose to do.

By road:

On the main A390 road, near the B3273 Mevagissey Road.

By public transport:

St Austell's station is a 'Transport Interchange' with Mainline Rail, National Coach & Local Bus services plus a Taxi Rank.

The Elms is only a 10 minute walk from the station : Walk towards the station's vehicle entrance/exit. Turn right & walk down the hill. On reaching the White Hart, cross the road and walk dow the street to the left-hand side of the White Hart, South Street. Continue walking down hill until you reach the main road. Turn right. The Elms is on the next corner - Pondhu Road.

Local buses to Meavgissey & Heligan Gardens stop nearby to the Elms by the MacDonald's store in Pentewan Road. Buses to the Eden Project leave from the station and the bus stop in Trinity Street.
