The Rosevine

The Rosevine overlooks Gerrans Bay, nr Portscatho. This part Georgian house is set in 2 acres of wooded gardens, and is a short stroll from the safe sandy beach.

There are 12 suites/mini apartments. Most have sea views with private terrace or balcony. Children have cosy separate sleeping areas, with either twin beds or New England Aspace bunks. All have sitting/dining areas and discreet mini kitchen facilities for rustling up simple meals. However, if cooking is not on the cards, then house chefs prepare delicious rustic style food, served downstairs on most days from mid morning through until supper, including children’s high tea. There is also a “deli” service of prepared dishes, and other items such as milk, bread, pots of home made jam, breakfast cereals, locally cured meats, snack boxes and wine from the house selection.

The Rosevine has everything families need for babies and toddlers, and downstairs there is a playroom with large screen tv, x-box, and a toy cupboard stocked with toys and games for all ages. The house also has wireless internet access. There is an indoor pool with changing room and shower, and a guest laundry and boot room. Outside is a large lawn to relax on and a lower field perfect for children to run around on, with play area, trampoline, and little wooden house. The children will never be without something to delight and entertain them.

Not all our guests have children however, and if you are holidaying without little ones, there is space to spread out upstairs, and a cosy drawing room with wood burning stove to retreat to downstairs. For those visiting in the spring and autumn months will find not only a quieter house but a less crowded Cornwall.
