Porth Lake

Porth is a designated Bird Sanctuary and a haven for migrant waders. To cause the least disturbance to wildlife, there is no access to the Nature Reserve and DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THIS RESERVOIR.

This is a mature coarse fishery, where match fishermen and families are equally at home. There is no close season and the water can be booked for competitions all year round, (please call 01566 771930 for bookings).

Day permits can be brought from a self-service unit on site.

The toilets and rest room near the dam are for the use of fishermen and birdwatchers.
