The St Mawes Fish Festival takes place on Saturday September 11th and attracts food lovers from all over the country. It is organised by local chefs, restaurants and fishermen and this year's event will feature a fish barbecue, market and a display of the day's catch.
As well as sampling tasty locally-produced food, visitors can also watch the St Mawes Harbour Race, which takes place in the afternoon and involves the beautiful and historic working boats.
The first fish festival was held in 2006 and since then, it has gone from strength to strength, attracting an increasing number of visitors each summer.
