Internationally recognised sailing regatta complemented by lively shore-side entertainment, marching carnival, continental market, workshops and more.
Apart from a stunning programme of Dinghy and Yacht Racing, organised by the sailing clubs that make up the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association, Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week 2009 promises a week of great music and fun from 8 -15 August, alongside the largest regatta in the South West. By popular demand from Falmouth Week party goers, this year’s shoreside evening entertainment will be split between two venues, the Events Square and Princess Pavilion, which will allow people more choice.
On Events Square expect 70s night with a bit more flair and a Caribbean night cocktail with an extra twist. All this will take place under cover, so even the English Summer can’t dampen the festivities. The Events Square marquee will host a selection of bands and DJs with fancy dress competitions. The fun won’t stop there, as a timetable of family fun will be on all day and everyday, for those too small for sailing.
