We are a small company, founded in 1990, to organise interesting walking holidays of various lengths and standards. My husband, Greg and I worked in Europe for many years both in a tour guiding capacity and as instructors for the Austrian ski school in Gargellen.
The company grew out of our enjoyment of walking, combined with the organizational and language skills which we have developed over the years.
For several years now we have been adding interesting new angles to our programme. Apart from our place-to-place walks along different stretches of the Cornish coastline, we now offer a week based in Cornwall’s Far West, with a varied selection of daily coastal walks plus fascinating sallies into the ancient Celtic interior. Guests can also take a day trip to the fabulous Scilly Islands.
Our programme also includes garden holidays, which combine easier walking with visits to a wonderful selection of gardens. Some of these holidays are organised on a 2-centre basis; another is a “stately home-stay”, with accommodation in a wonderful old historical house and a daily programme of interesting garden visits.
We also feature “cushy” walks in mainland Europe, plus fascinating mountain walks on historical Alpine trading trails.
All our holidays are based on a small group size of 6-16, and all walks and garden trips are accompanied by the owners themselves. A luggage service operates on all our holidays, where relevant.
Wir sprechen Deutsch. On parle francais. Parliamo italiano.
NEW for 2012 for visitors from overseas – we are now organising English language courses especially for older guests whose school English has become rusty! Come and spend a week with us in Cornwall to brush it up!
