We have the highest standards in Health and Safety, with national accreditations including: AALA, BSA, RYA, BCU, LOTC, Adventure Mark, Cornwall Council Waves Scheme, John Muir Environmental Award and Investor in People.

Family activity holidays
The perfect way to spend quality time and have fun together - with no-one getting bored! Everything is arranged, so parents; you can relax and have a break from organising! We are genuinely flexible so you can choose your favourite activities to make up your week and make them as exciting and challenging as you wish. We also put on a great lively evening programme that everyone can join in with or of course you are welcome to slip off to our beach with a glass of wine. Many families who met at Outdoor Adventure now arrange to book on the same week. For some it is their 6th time with us: the kids insist!

Our team are fun to be with, keep things relaxed and know how to build up a great rapport with the kids. Yes, they are qualified and experienced, but what makes the difference is that they genuinely care that you have a fantastic time with us and will go that extra mile to make it happen!

Activity weekends for adult groups
We have a wealth of experience in organising and running weekends for groups, from stag and hen parties, birthdays, work groups, clubs and just groups of friends who want to share some time and have fun together doing something different.

Our staff team are experienced in managing group events and know how to make a weekend like this a great success and one which will be truly memorable! These weekends are for all ages and abilities – no one has to be super fit or a good swimmer, just open to plenty of new experiences and lots of fun.

The weekend includes: A great range of fun and exciting activities close to the centre, superb food, minibuses once you are here, lively Saturday evening entertainment (optional). If you want a night on the town the lively town of Bude is only 4 miles up the coast road and there is also a pub 5 minutes walk from the centre.

Surf school
We specialise in coaching beginners and intermediates. The 2 hour lessons are run at Widemouth Bay which has ideal waves to learn on. We also have lots of experience with groups such as Stag and Hen and offer group discounts.

The coaches are excellent; as well as being highly experienced and qualified they are also great surfers. The latest kit includes slick bottomed INT soft boards from California, a selection of hard short and long boards, high quality, full length summer and winter wetsuits, boots, gloves and hats depending on the time of year are provided. A great place to learn!
