Hire fun and stable sit-on kayaks from The Quay in St. Mawes and explore the Percuil River and creeks under paddle power- it’s magical.
You may venture as far as St. Anthony’s Head (Fraggle Rock) Lighthouse if conditions are favorable. You can land at a secluded cove or at Molunan Beach. Why not head north up the Carrick Roads to St. Just? With plenty of shoreline to stop at for a picnic on the way.
If the above sounds too much like hard work why not let Mr. Yamaha take the strain?
Step aboard our purpose built 8 passenger RIB (rigid inflatable boat) “Paramour” for a blast out into the bay, where we may see the seals on Black Rock or even a pod of dolphins if we’re very lucky.
Take a trip down to Helford, visit a waterside pub or book up for an evening water taxi back from Falmouth or elsewhere in the Carrick Roads.
You can even combine a RIB trip with a paddle on the beautiful upper reaches of the River Fal, near the King Harry Ferry and Smuggler’s Cottage. Go for a wild swim off the boat or perhaps you can think of something we haven’t!
See web site for full details.
You will find St Mawes Sit-on Kayaks on the slipway at the quay in St Mawes on the Roseland. We are hard to miss - just lookout for the bright orange and yellow kayaks, and a cheerful chap in shorts!
