Magical excursions to Porthcurno and The Minack Theatre

There is nothing more incredible during your trip to Cornwall, than our excursion to Porthcurno including a show at the world-famous Minack Theatre.

Located at the very end of Cornwall, just a few miles from Land's End. This is a spectacular stretch of coastline with huge cliffs, deserted beaches and a rich history of fishing, pirates and communities going back to Bronze Age.

On our excursion, you will get a rich taste of all this history. Starting with a coast walk, you will walk along ancient paths soaking up wonderful views. From here, you can reach deserted beaches and the odd pub to enjoy a drink and a snack.

For those who fancy something extra there is the fascinating Telegraph Museum and the story of global telecommunication.

And if you prefer a more relaxing afternoon, why not hang out on Porthcurno beach with its crystal clear waters that are perfect for a dip in the sea.

After such an amazing day, it is always super special to walk up to the Minack for the evening show. We like to get there early so we can enjoy our picnic and the atmosphere of the theatre before the show begins.

The final treat of the night is if we get dolphins jumping in the bay as the backdrop to the show :)

“BE NOT AFEARD. THE ISLE IS FULL OF NOISES, SOUNDS, AND SWEET AIRS THAT GIVE DELIGHT AND HURT NOT.”
