Visit the African Savanna exhibit, home to stunning Black Wildebeest, Nyala Antelope, Waterbuck, Ostrich and strikingly beautiful zebra. View these animals roaming their enclosure from a viewing platform giving you a birds-eye view.

Spring 2011 sees the opening of Toad Hall – a fascinating new exhibit highlighting the threats to amphibians around the world.
Exciting keeper talks as well as activity trails, face painting, children’s play area and Dragon maze offer plenty to keep people of all abilities and ages occupied.
Visit the Café Lemur for a varied menu and delicious food, the majority of which is locally sourced, in a relaxed setting overlooking lemur island. Here you can enjoy a delicious summer barbeque whilst watching the lemurs play.
Newquay Zoo was the first attraction in Cornwall to achieve a GOLD accreditation from the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) where award winners have to demonstrate that they are taking action in a wide range of areas such as energy and water efficiency, waste reduction, support for local suppliers, ethical products and contributing to wildlife and the environment.
