The Port William

The Port William Inn at Trebarwith Strand, near Tintagel, is a wonderful pub and restaurant on the North Cornwall coast, renowned for excellent pub food and a comfortable welcoming bar. There is also 4 star accommodation, with all 8 hotel rooms having a very high standard of finish and superb sea views, down to the sea and the dramatic cliffs.

You are also welcome to enjoy the inn's excellent food and drink from the bar and restaurant, while enjoying the superb views from our outside terrace.

The Port William lies on the famous Cornwall coast path and is a very popular stop off point for walkers. Trebarwith Strand also offers a surf school and has Life Guards during the summer months.

We do not serve fast food; our menu uses fresh local produce wherever possible, which is cooked on the premises. Therefore at busy times there may be a short wait for your meal.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8.30 - 9.30am, in the conservatory overlooking the sea.

Lunch
Our lunchtime selection starts at 12pm and finishes at 3pm featuring the full menu and many ever-changing specials and homemade desserts.
We serve a lighter condensed menu during the afternoon, from 3pm until 6pm.

Dinner
We then resume our full menu at 6pm until 9pm. Consisting of many different specials and homemade desserts, changing from day to day.

Bar
The bar is open from 10.30am till 11.00pm Monday – Saturday (until 10.30pm on Sundays), where you can relax outside watching the surfers in the summer, or in the winter sit in front of our cosy open log fire with a hot chocolate admiring the power of the sea against the rocks.

Children’s Meals
We are a family friendly pub. There is a children’s menu available and we have highchairs available on request.
