Portholland Beach
Portholland Beach is made up of two small, secluded coves of grey stone and rocky outcrops. Backed by a granite sea wall that protects the tiny hamlets of East and West Portholland, home to around forty residents.
At low tide the coves join to become a wide stretch of unspoilt sandy shoreline, just one of many secluded spots along the Roseland that have remained largely unchanged for over a century.
The Roseland Peninsula is part of Cornwall's National Landscape, formerly known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and boasts unrivalled scenery and a relatively mild climate year-round.
