Tregrehan

Tregrehan

Welcome to Tregrehan, ideally situated on the south coast of Cornwall in an area densely packed with interesting places and activities and itself living history. Retained in the Carlyon family for over 3 centuries, the current kiwi generation are perhaps alarmingly casual, but fastidious in our aims to preserve 18C architecture and live responsibly on this planet

Tregrehan Garden, although historical its approach is fresh with an extraordinary recent collection worthy of its relationship with Kew.  The gardens intense privacy baffles some visitors, but reflects a character that each generation of Carlyon gardener has unfailingly brought with him or her.  Tregrehan Garden is about plants.

Tregrehan is a large woodland garden created over the last 200 years, creating a backgrop to the formal walled garden and fine greenhouse range.  Botanically important recent planting.  We are open for groups any time by appointment.
