Find the giant’s heart in the pathway to the castle, discover the amazing plaster frieze showing medieval hunting scenes and meet the thriving island community in the village.

Spring and Summer Opening Times 2011
Castle and Village
27th March to 30th October - 10.30a.m. to 5.00p.m (until 5.30pm 1st July to 31st August). Closed Saturdays.

Gardens Opening Times 2011
18th April to 30th June Monday to Friday 10.30am to 5.00pm. Thursday and Friday only from 1st July to 26th August 10.30am to 5.30pm & 1st September to 30th September 10.30am to 5.00pm.

All visits subject to favourable weather conditions. Sensible footwear advised as paths are cobbled and uneven and there is a steep climb to the castle.
