Description

The Dovecote is a unique themed designer romantic retreat in a stunning cliff top position. Luxuriously appointed with a private hot tub the Dovecote is proving a very sort after place for honeymoons, anniversaries, special occasions, or stylish holiday accommodation.

On arrival there is a cream tea, bubbly on ice, chocolates and fresh flowers. A quality continental breakfast is left in your room for your first morning lay in.

Hot towels, robes and towelling slippers are provided, all electric and fuel and optional maid service are inclusive.

A professional drinks machine give instant freshly filtered drinks constantly, the suite is complimented by light cooking facilities for hot snacks.

Through the stained glass doors leads to the outdoor hot tub on your own secluded decked area with stunning sea views by day and a star studded sky by night.

We are set up high above Lamorna Cove in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, great historical interest and heritage coast with the coastal path right on your door step. A ten minute walk will take you down into Lamorna Cove, the quaint Cornish fishing ports Mousehole and Newlyn nearby.

Imagine slipping into the hot tub with a glass of bubbly after a day exploring the coastline, laying back star gazing with twinkling tea lights scattered around, a wonderfully romantic relaxing experience.

Directions

By road:

When you approach Penzance passed the heliport you will arrive at the Tesco rondabout. Take the Penzance town road, you pass the train station and bus station, follow the sea front road round the harbour and on to the seafront and prom, carry on for a mile or so to Newlyn crossroads, ahead of you will be Chywoone hill, between the chip shop and estate agent, Chywoone Hill the B3315.
Take this road until you pass through a small hamlet curiously named Sheffield, five hundred yards outside of Sheffield is a sweeping left hand bend sign posted Raggins, Mousehole, Castallack take this road, a mile on, directly ahead of you will be a dead end sign, take this dead end road.
At the T junction you will come to the farm track, signed St Aubyn Estates, turn right. Approx a mile on will bring you to the edge of Lamorna Cove and valley, look out for a large granite stone with Kymaurah on it. Drive into the courtyard, Mekyel Manor cottage is the first barn on your right, the Dovecote the end barn to your left, we should be here to greet you, if not go in, tea coffe etc in the kitchen.
