Fal River Autumn Walking Festival

17 October – 02 November

Fal River Autumn Walking Festival

Encompassing the very best of what the Fal River has to offer, the walks will encounter historical points of interest, meander along coast paths, pass through areas of outstanding natural beauty and world heritage sites.

The Fal River Autumn Walking returns for its third year and promises to be bigger, better...and have more boots.  Sponsored by The Nare, this year’s festival will take place from Friday 17 October to Sunday 2 November.

In 2012 there were over 60 guided and self-guided walks will feature around the beautiful Fal River, from the Roseland peninsula in the east, to Helford in the west and as far inland as Truro. Walk leaders from a range of local organisations – from professional walking companies such as walkitcornwall and the National Trust through to walk sponsors – will be hosting a walk in their grounds.

The self-guided walks will be enjoyed throughout the festival as well as throughout the year – designed to be undertaken at any time by downloading the walking instructions and directions from the festival website www.falriver.co.uk/walkingfestival

Walkers during the festival are encouraged to pick up a Fal Mussel Card, this innovative travel pass gives unlimited travel around the river and easy, car free access to most of the great walks that people can take part in during the festival.

Don't miss out and come join in the fun with us!
