The Crow's Nest Inn, near Liskeard
This little pub, dating back to the 16th century, lies in the shadow of Bodmin Moor, surrounded by remnants of the old mining industry and even older prehistoric monuments. A huge log fire greets visitors on cold days and the country atmosphere is combined with a great home cooked menu. A perfect place to end up after a windswept trek over the moors.

The Bay View Inn, Widemouth Bay, Bude
Located on Cornwall’s surfing coast, the Bay View has one of the best views of the ocean in Cornwall and is a great place to storm watch from. Relax in the cosy but contemporary inside while taking in the natural display outside. Although the fire is gas rather than log fuelled, the inn’s award winning menu is popular with foodies and the bar offers a good range of local drinks to warm you up after a stroll across the beach just a five minute walk away.

The Blue Anchor Inn, Helston
If you’re looking for tradition, then tradition it is at the Blue Anchor. Dating back some 600 years, the inn brews its own world famous Spingo Ales and has a busy programme of live music throughout the winter.
