Newquay Zoo - Newquay 30 October
For lots of storytelling, puppets, music and dance, head to Cornwall's award winning Newquay Zoo this October half-term. With over 130 of the world's rare and exciting creatures, children’s play area and Dragon maze, you'll find plenty to do on your family day out.
Eden Project - St Austell 31 October
Get your fancy dress on and join the Eden Project for a spooky evening of fang-tastic fun for all the family on Halloween night. There'll be plenty of spooky activities, tasty treats and a good bone-shaking disco in the Olive Grooveyard. Don't miss the haunted Biomes, open for you to explore.
Dairyland Farm World - near Newquay 28 Oct - 3 Nov
Show off your creative skills with Dairyland's free, fun-filled pumkin carving. Explore the spooky surroundings of the farm and dive into the massive indoor play area. Plenty here to keep you busy for the entire day.
Cornwall's Crealy - Wadebridge 31 October
There will be meet and great sessions for one day only at award winning Cornwall's Crealy with the popular Moshi Monsters Katsuma & Poppet. The park is set in 111 acres of Cornish countryside with thrill rides, hundreds of animals and 40,000 square foot of indoor play area. Don't miss the all new Swampy and Dina Land.
Monkey Sanctuary - Looe 27 - 30 October
It’s all going to get spooky with Halloween games this October at the Monkey Sanctuary. Get your face painted, listen to ghost stories in the gardens and look for secret treasures. Enjoy pumpkin specials at the Treetop Cafe, with plenty of spookiness to tuck into and meet the 37 monkies that live in the family-friendly sanctuary.
Lanhydrock house - Bodmin 25 Oct - 2 Nov
Test your skills and win lots of prizes with Lanhydrock House's Spooky Garden Trail. Once completed, explore the late Victorian country house and discover two sides of Victorian life; from servants quarters to the comforts of luxury upstairs. A great family event with plenty to see and do.
Trebah garden - near Falmouth 30 Oct
Explore Trebah garden in the dead of night and find out what lurks in the shadows when the visitors have gone home. Creep through the undergrowth and eerily lit pathways. This halloween experience is free entry to under 15s and just £5 per adult.
National Maritime Museum Cornwall - Falmouth 27 Oct - 2 Nov
Head to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall this half-term for some fishy themed fun. The Falmouth University students are hosting different workshops each day for families. Plus make a 3D tissue paper model of a Kurt Jackson inspired landscape, a fishy sketch book and magnetic fishing rod.
Paradise Park - Hayle 25 Oct - 2 Nov
Paradise Park’s Halloween Owl Prowl Trail is sure to give you goose bumps as you explore the grounds of the Park, hunting out the clues about the creatures of the night. And when you complete all the answers, your skills will be rewarded with a lovely sweet treat ... yum! Daily Events include Carrot Time in the Fun Farm, penguin & otter feeding, a chance to feed the Rainbow Lorikeets and see free flying macaws.
