Land's End Landmark

27 May - 4 June

Celebrate nature from creepy-crawlies to screech owls at Land’s End this half-term

Everything’s set for a ‘Wonderfully Wild’ half-term at Land’s End this month as the landmark attraction puts the natural world centre-stage.

The highlight of the week-long wildlife celebration is the visit of a parliament of owls from the Screech Owl Sanctuary in St Columb which visitors can meet and stroke.

Children and their parents can then take part in their very own bio-blitz, counting and recording all the different species of animals, birds and creepy-crawlies they find around Land’s End.

Kids will be able to join in some wildlife crafts and make their very own insect home using recycled bottles to keep in their gardens and monitor for bug life.

There will also be visits and talks from the RSPB and Cornwall Wildlife Trust throughout the week.

The Wonderfully Wild half-term events will take place from May 27 until June 4, with the owls visiting from May 29 to June 1, 11am-4pm each day.

All attractions, shops and food outlets at Land’s End will open daily from 10am throughout half-term.
