Firework displays in Cornwall
It’s nearly time to put on your woollies and light your sparklers - fireworks night is soon upon us! To help your night go with a bang we’ve rounded up some of the best firework displays lighting up the Cornish skies...
Bodmin: 5th November. Priory Park. Said to be the biggest display in North Cornwall. As well as the display there are also fairground ridesand food stalls to enjoy. Gates open 6pm, fireworks start 7pm
Bude: 2nd November time TBC. Bude Rugby Club
Helston: 24th October at 7:30pm. Watch the sky light up above Flambards at their Halloween Tricks & Treats Firework Spectacular.
Looe: 3rd November from 7pm. Held at Tencreek Holiday Park just outside Looe.
Liskeard: 5th November at the rugby training field, fireworks start at 7.30pm
Malpas, nr Truro: 27th October. The famous riverside fireworks extravaganza will be launched at around 6.30-6.45pm. The event this year will be an Halloween themed so fancy dress is essential!
Newquay Harbour: 5th November. Fireworks from 7.00pm. The Harbour is in central Newquay with good viewpoints all around.
Penzance: 3rd November. Firework display at the football club, Alexander Rd. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm.
Polperro: 3rd November. fantastic display around the historic harbour. From 6.30pm onwards.
St Ives: 5th November. Organised by the rugby club and held on Porthminster Beach, timings TBC.
St Mawes: 2nd November at 7pm off the seafront.
Truro: 5th November. 5pm - 7pm (TBC) The Tremorvah Playing Fields Group, in association with Truro City Council are holding their annual bonfire and fireworks display.
Wadebridge: 3rd November starts 7pm. Gates open at 6pm. Wadebridge Rugby Club,
Watergate Bay: 3rd November. Fireworks from 7.00pm. The fireworks will be launched by a professional team from the hills around Watergate Bay. So the best viewing of the event will be in Watergate Bay itself.
