It’s nearly time to put on your woollies and light your sparklers - fireworks night is soon upon us! To help your night go with a bang we’ve rounded up some of the best firework displays lighting up the Cornish skies...

Bude Rugby Club is the place to be for Bonfire Night!! Starting with a Guy Fawkes Competition at 6pm before lighting of the Bonfire, followed by another brilliant Fireworks Display at 7pm. The Bar will be open, and we will have a BBQ as well.

A fun night to celebrate Guy Fawkes with fireworks and bonfire. Bring your own Guys along for burning, there’s a prize for the best.

Falmouth: Tuesday 5th November, from 6pm
The event is organised by Falmouth Firefighters and sees thousands of pounds worth of fireworks light up the sky amongst a great atmosphere of fairground rides, music, entertainment & food stalls. There’ll be hotdogs, burgers, hog roast, and the club bar will be open for other refreshments and children’s fair ride.
Entry fee is £4 adults and £2 children (children must be accompanied by an adult), with proceeds supporting great local causes.
No parking is available on site, apart from disabled parking, so walking might be the best route!

Lappa Valley, nr Newquay: Saturday 2nd November, time 7.30pm
A whole weekend of celebrations marking the end of the season with fireworks and a steam extravaganza on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November. There will be a collection of full size and miniature traction engines, fairground organs, every available railway locomotive in use at Lappa Valley plus visiting steam engines on the railways!
Saturday's firework display will be at 7.30pm. All visitors need to be onsite by 7pm for safety. Our usual admission prices apply during the day. Our fireworks evening costs just £5. If you pay for a day ticket, you can stay on site in Lappa Valley or return for the fireworks at no extra cost - or arrive from 5pm onwards for the fireworks evening and pay just £5.

The fireworks begin at 7.30pm and entry is £5 for adults, with kids and under 16s free. Not only can you enjoy a fantastic fireworks show but your little ones can also meet Deano the Dolphin, Sparky The Sharky and enjoy Kids Funtime after the main display. PLUS there’s top cabaret performances!

Pentewan: Friday 25th October, from 7pm
A fantastic explosion of fireworks at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park as part of their October half term celebrations. All ages are welcomed at the event which will be held in support of Cornwall Hospice Care. The event will take place from 7pm with fireworks starting around 8pm - the admission price is £1.00 per adult and £1.00 per child (admission price includes parking) with proceeds going to Cornwall Hospice Care. Food, entertainment and refreshments will be available from the Seahorse Club throughout the night.

The annual Polperro Fireworks Display takes place over Peak Rock down on the harbour, allowing for plenty of good viewing points. Please note this event is weather permitting.

Port Gaverne, nr Port Isaac: Saturday,26 October from 6pm
This year see’s a 'one off visit' by Derek Deaden. He is top of his game in the world of pyrotechnics having done 'The Queens Jubilee’ and is coming to Port Gaverne. There will be food by the super talented 'Andy Sheridan' from 2019 Great British Menu!
The Port Gaverne Hotel and Pilchards Cafe will be open for delicious food as normal. Hog Roast, Fish Finger Sandwiches, Pad Thai, Toffee Apples and more... plus live music will be played all evening!

Family friendly bonfire night event with two firework displays, a children’s quieter display at 5.30pm, bonfire lighting at 6.30pm and the main display at 8.30pm. Doors will open at 4pm, food vendors will be serving a wide range of food, Hungry Monkey, Hog Roast, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Chilli, Baked Potatoes, and licenced bar with hot and cold drinks. The event is a non-profit community event, hosted by WAX. There will be collections for local organisations, raffles, music and stands selling hot drinks & food. The fireworks will be launched by a professional team from the hills around Watergate Bay. So, the best viewing of the event will be in Watergate Bay itself. Viewing areas will be clearly defined on the night.
