Butterwell Farm is a peaceful and idyllic location on the Camel Trail and River Camel perfectly situated between Cornwall’s North & South coasts – just 12 miles from Polzeath and other fantastic surf beaches. Butterwell offers a quiet oasis of abundant rare wildlife - enjoy woodland walks, wildlife ponds and exceptional game fishing at your front door. The Camel Valley is regarded by many as one of the most unspoilt valleys in Cornwall.
Whether it’s a family holiday, romantic getaway or a short-break with friends, Butterwell Farm has the perfect cottage for you. They have two 3-bedroom cottages and two 1-bedroom all finished to a very high standard and offering fantastic views across the Camel Valley. Whether you just want a quiet cycle along the flat tranquil Camel Trail or you are seeking a greater challenge on the adjoining forest trails, Butterwell has direct access to a cycling journey the novice to even the best downhill mountain biker will not forget. With a flat trail running to the north coast at Padstow and all the way to Bodmin Moor you can enjoy up to 34 miles of stress free riding along the beautiful Camel Valley. Butterwell Farm is also ideally located for those looking for more adventurous routes with fantastic mountain biking opportunities just a short cycle from your front door – explore Grogley, Hustyns, Bishops, Dunmere and Cardinham Woods.
