Cabilla Cornwall is located in the middle of Bodmin Moor, previously a working upland hill farm it is at the start of a new chapter. Now open for all to experience – our goal is to connect you with the restorative powers of nature, helping you to switch off in the quiet of the Cornish countryside and find happiness amongst the wilderness. A unique and wild space for retreats and weekends away.
Experience more than 80 acres of ancient oak woodland, famous for its air-purifying lichens. Press pause in wildflower meadows full of butterflies and walk alongside flowing rivers, which are pure enough to drink from and to bathe in. The farm is situated deep within one of the UK’s very few dark sky environments, so there is no unnatural light or sounds from aircraft or traffic, and at night you’ll see an abundance of stars – it’s a calm and uniquely wild place.
Stay amid the wild beauty of Bodmin Moor in one of our 12 Bell Tents, set in our quiet Cornish Glade near The Barns. Designed with comfort and restfulness in mind, the tents are simply furnished, enhanced by inspiring literature and plants.
The Barns are a beautiful communal space with cosy, cabin style bathrooms, underfloor heating and monsoon showers. We have built a well equipped field kitchen kitted out with four working stations for you to cook at, designed with social distancing in mind. Tables are available inside and outside for alfresco dining.
