It’s the stuff of legend: King Arthur, Camelot, the Knights of the Round Table and the connections to Cornwall are world famous. Coupled with this are the stunning locations of the South West Coastal Path and world-renowned surfing opportunities of North Cornwall, guests can enjoy a wild ride on some high rollers.

Wigwam® Holidays Great Tregath amid beautiful farmland is perfect for a quiet glamping holiday in the idyllic Cornish countryside. From one of the six running water deluxe Wigwam® cabins enjoy stunning views of Cornwall’s extinct volcano ‘Rough Tor’, which at 1311 ft makes an excellent viewpoint over the surrounding area. Pronounced as 'Rowter', it is one of Bodmin Moor's most famous landmarks. The ancient town of Camelford, located 1 mile from the site, historically a vital crossing point on the River Camel, can provide a host of local amenities. Wigwam® Holidays Great Tregath is located within 5 miles from the nearest beach. The stunningly, rugged Atlantic coastline of North Cornwall stretches for over 40 miles, where you can discover sensational beaches, picturesque harbours and spectacular cliffs. The site at Great Tregath provides a prime location to escape and relax. Whether you choose to explore by foot, bike or go a little further afield there are many amazing places for you to discover, and for those fascinated by King Arthur and his legendary exploits, the Arthurian Centre at Slaughterbridge and the world famous Tintagel Castle are just a short drive away.

Wigwam® Holidays Great Tregath is open all year round as the wooden cabins are cosy, heated and fully insulated. Dogs are permitted in four of the six cabins for a small tariff. The site also has a unique facility to wash down and dry wetsuits, surfboards and even the ability to spruce up the pooch!

Each cabin has its own authentic Kadai® fire bowl and ‘witches cauldron’ cooking tripod (logs and kindling available from the site owners). While you can bring your own items such as duvets and toiletries, guests can enhance their stay by ordering fresh towels, bed linen, food hampers, and home cooked scones for a Cornish cream tea.
