Trevalgan Touring Park
Surrounded by open farmland Trevalgan lies nestled between the gorse, bracken and heather covered granite hills and the dramatic north Cornish coastline. There are many walks from the park to St. Ives or Zennor via the network of local public footpaths which join up to the stunning South West Coast Path.
You will be rewarded with spectacular views and an abundance of flowers and wildlife including birds, seals and the occasional dolphin! We are ideally situated for families and couples to explore the delights of the West Cornwall peninsula, famous for its rugged coastal footpath, secluded coves, award-winning beaches and world-famous attractions such as Land’s End, The Minack Theatre, Tate St Ives and St Michael’s Mount.
We offer free hot showers, family shower rooms, a baby bath, disabled shower facilities, indoor dishwashing sinks, a fully-equipped laundry room, disposal point for chemical toilets, gas exchange and we provide freezers for customer’s own ice packs. For the 2014 season we have fully refurbished our toilet and shower facilities, which now have underfloor heating throughout, and installed new security entrance barriers to the park.
For our younger guests we also offer an outdoor play area and games room with table tennis, air hockey and a pool table. At reception we have a selection of tourist information and our friendly staff are always happy to help and advise. A regular bus service runs from the site to St Ives and back from Whitsun until mid-September and takes dogs, pushchairs and surfboards. Our on-site shop stocks a selection of groceries to cater for most of your basic needs including fresh bread and some local produce as well as camping supplies and gas exchange.
The park has a range of grass touring and camping pitches – non-serviced pitches for basic camping (without electric hook-up), serviced pitches (including 16-amp electric hook-up point) and fully serviced pitches (including 16-amp electric hook-up, fresh water tap and grey water drainage point).
