Retreat to Fowey-Claremont House Apt 2

Welcome to retreat to Fowey Claremont House Apt 2

Claremont House houses a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment which is loacted within a double fronted Victorian 3 story house which has undergone complete refurbishment and renovation to a very high standard.

This apartment has a spacious open plan living room featuring a large comfy sofa and vintage chairs which face some spectacular views of the Fowey Estuary. The kitchen is located off the living room and overlooks the garden and Fowey Hall. With its sloping ceilings, solid wood, hand painted units with black granite worktops, built in Bosh dishwasher; integrated Bosh electric oven, gas hob with extractor hood and Smeg fridge freezer, tiled floor with under floor heating all give this kitchen a touch of luxury. The vintage walnut dining table seats 4 comfortably and is complimented with painted country style wooden chairs and a French rise and fall porcelain lamp. It has been positioned in front of the bi fold doors and glass fronted Juliette balcony to take in the views and sea air.

The master bedroom feels very tranquil and fresh with its pale, muted colour tones and a glorious views through the bi-fold doors and Juliette balcony from which you can sit and day dream. Room with Twin Beds features cream and brass beds with beautiful bed linen and quilts ensure that this bedroom is a welcoming and cozy place to retire to. A small cloakroom with wash hand basin and toilet complete the Twin room.

The Main Bathroom is “small but perfectly formed” – the shower bath enables you to take a shower with plenty of room or lie back and relax in the tub. Outside, the terraced gardens provide a patio area and BBQ to enjoy the last of the afternoon sun. This practical outdoor space even includes a deep Belfast sink for washing off your sandy feet after a day down on the beach. The outdoor areas are completed by Miele Washing machine and tumble dryer in the outside utility room and a storage area for all the things you need for a fun day on the beach.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, superbly equipped with stunning waterside views. Every morning I opened the shutters and uttered ‘wow’, simply breath-taking even with an early morning sea mist at times, which quickly cleared.
