They feel if the children have a great holiday so do the parents. There are over 13 acres to explore, play and relax.
Glynn Barton is surrounded by outstanding countryside and access is via its own long driveway yet the town of Bodmin with its shops and supermarkets are only 3 miles away, A30 to access Cornwall is 2 miles away, even the train station is a 10 minute drive or taxi ride away. Being in the heart of Cornwall you are in a great position to explore Cornwall’s many attractions.
Their guests are encouraged to look at their cottage as a second home, they are well equipped for the whole family, welcoming, warm and clean, as all the facilities are.
Glynn Barton supply everything from travel cots to plastic cutlery for the little ones and a fully qualified baby sitter should you want the odd night out. The heated indoor swimming pool is heated to 31 degrees and comes stocked with toys and some swimming aids along with a much-needed play pen to allow you to get ready knowing that your little ones are safe. Continuing the indoor theme on they have a soft play area where the children can let off some steam and you can sit back and watch them have hours of fun. There are indoor play houses with endless toys and games too. For the outside that is big enough for all ages they have an adventure fort, tennis court and a maze. The Toddler ride is designed for the younger guests as sometimes the bigger children can get a little over excited. This is only a small example of what they have to offer with so much more to explore inside and out.
As to the farm animals Glynn Barton have donkeys, cows, sheep, pigs, goats and chicken. They are enthusiastic fake farmers as they only have a few of each and see them as pets. All of the little guests are encouraged to help feed the animals while the parents can watch their confidence grow as the week progresses all under the supervision of the owners.
If sightseeing is what you are looking for, or maybe a day at the beach and rockpooling you could not be more perfectly placed as they are 20 minutes from either side of the coast with a whole lot more to explore, there is a folder for each cottage with ideas of things to do and places to go including those ever so handy postcodes or for the more traditional you will find a variety of maps on the walls of our upstairs play room.
