This beautiful stone farm complex, dating partly from 1600, nestles in glorious countryside near the historic village of Grampound in mid Cornwall, and is perfectly located between the north and south coasts.

Tucked away down a long private lane, situated in three acres of gardens, and surrounded by fields and woods, the barn is a perfect retreat for couples who want peace and quiet, yet easy access to all corners of the county.  We also welcome babes in arms or a dog in the Dairy.

Two self-catering cottages are set around a central courtyard. Named for their use when Benallack was a working dairy farm, the Dairy and the Bullpen each sleep two people and can be booked by the week or for short breaks all year round. The apartments are individually furnished with decorative and antique items, yet with modern luxury and comfort always in mind. The Dairy is the most spacious, on two floors, with bedroom and bathroom upstairs and its own enclosed patio. The Bullpen is a studio bed-sitting room with separate bathroom and eat-in kitchen, all on the ground floor. Both are graded 4-star Gold by Visit England.

Both apartments have their own outside space but guests are also welcome to stroll in the gardens and find a seat to enjoy the views and the wildlife. After a busy day out exploring, have a picnic or barbecue by the lake in the evening sun or go for a country walk right from the door (on a public footpath across the fields).
