Pretty, private garden is only 1½ miles from the sea. It provides an ideal base for a walking, surfing, fishing, golfing or simply a relaxing family holiday in North Cornwall.
The restored cottage has a small cosy living room with beamed low ceilings and a slate fireplace, TV with Freeview, DVD and CD players. Steep narrow stairs lead up to the double bedroom which has uninterrupted views across the fields. Both of these rooms form a part of the original cottage built in the late 18th Century so have very low ceilings - tall people beware!
Downstairs there is a single bedroom leading to a twin bedroom as well as a recently refurbished bathroom with electric shower. Also on the ground floor is the spacious, well-equipped fitted kitchen with a traditional Delabole Slate floor - the dining area leads to a pretty paved garden with mature borders and views across fields to the slate quarry. Within a few minutes walk is a well-stocked grocery shop, fish and chip shop, pub, hairdressers, beauticians and holistic therapist!
The spectacular beaches of Tregardock and Trebarwith are a pleasant walk away and the picturesque villages of Tintagel and Port Isaac are only a short drive away and famous Cornish sites such as the Eden Project can be easily visited within a day.
