Tredarrup's four boutique stone barns, on a peaceful smallholding with expansive views, are the perfect base for exploring this stunning stretch of North Cornwall coastline, with its sandy beaches and pretty fishing villages. Visit Port Isaac, Tintagel, Polzeath and Padstow. Or see the coast from a different angle and try one of the many watersports available locally such as surfing, coasteering and paddleboarding. After all that activity you'll need some delicious Cornish food and drink and there are plenty of options nearby, from cafes serving delicious cream-teas and pasties and cosy pubs serving fresh local seafood to Michelin-starred fine dining - all of which gives North Cornwall its renowned reputation as a destination for food-lovers. The south coast, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St. Ives and Land’s End are all within easy reach, whilst the beautiful coast and countryside of Devon are under an hour away.

The four beautifully converted stone barns sleep 2-6 and are an idyllic haven from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Sympathetically converted and full of original features, they combine the luxuries of 21st century living with centuries old tradition. There are spacious open-plan living areas with woodburners for cosy evenings in front of the fire, thick rugs to sprawl on and large comfortable sofas. Widescreen TVs, DVD players, free Netflix and super-fast wi-fi are provided. The well-equipped kitchens and dining areas all have dishwashers and fridge-freezers. Each cottage has its own private outdoor seating area with bbq and there are 7 acres of gardens and grounds for you to enjoy, with panoramic views across Cornwall and friendly farm animals to meet. A welcome pack of freshly baked and locally sourced provisions, along with logs for the fire during your stay, are all provided free of charge to get your holiday off to a flying start.

Mill Barn is converted from the old grain store, with wooden and granite floors, open beams and lovely views. There's an extremely spacious and vaulted open-plan living and dining area with a large farmhouse-style kitchen. An additional family room with television, DVD player and a separate Netflix account is the ideal retreat for children, teenagers or grandparents. Downstairs are three characterful bedrooms: a super-king-size double, with an adjacent spacious shower-room, tucked away at one end of the property and two twin rooms, one of which can be converted to a super king size double, making the barn ideal for extended families and groups of friends. There's also a large family bathroom with roll-top bath and shower over, for splashy children's bathtimes and long luxurious bubblebaths by candlelight. Outside there's a terrace, under cover of the historic horse-engine house, where you'll find an oak table and comfortable armchairs, festoon lighting and bunting, and magnificent views across the valley and large shared garden area.

Stable Cottage is a characterful and spacious barn sleeping 4, with beams, granite and wooden floors throughout. Ideal for families, friends travelling together and couples who just relish the extra space and private garden. The light and airy king-size bedroom with luxurious Hypnos mattress has a modern en-suite shower-room. The second bedroom has full size, comfortable single beds which can be joined to make a super-king size double, making Stable Cottage a flexible choice for families and friends. The adjacent large family bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath, for luxurious soaks after a day's exploring, and separate invigorating rainfall shower cubicle. The private woodland garden has a comfortable seating area with a firepit and BBQ and enjoys beautiful views across the farm and valley.

Our cottages for couples, the Wagon and Shippon, are perfect for both romantic getaways and longer holidays. Each has an open-plan living area with a cosy woodburning stove, squishy sofa and comfortable dining area for two. Exposed granite walls and vaulted ceilings with oak beams make them cosy and inviting spaces. There's a comfortable double or king-size bedroom, beautifully presented with luxury bedlinen, and an en-suite with large walk-in rainfall shower. Fluffy towels, bathrobes and beautiful toiletries from St. Kitts Herbery, Cornwall are provided for your stay. Each private terrace has a BBQ, table and chairs and sunloungers for relaxing with a glass of something cold and a good book.

There's plenty of children and baby equipment, available free of charge, so you can spend less time packing and unpacking. Whilst in the shared utility room you'll find a washing machine and tumble dryer, a selection of outdoor games and bodyboards to take to the beach and space to leave your wetsuits and muddy boots, ready for your next adventure.

We look forward to welcoming you to this special corner of Cornwall.
