Get away from it all at this beautifully maintained 3 bedroomed house, occupying an elevated and peaceful position in Portscatho.  It has glorious sea views of Gerrans Bay and is a short walk to the centre of Portscatho, the Hidden Hut café and sandy beaches and coves along the coastal path.

The property is accessed through a spacious porch – useful for coats and shoes and buckets and spades.  The house has a large, modern, well-equipped kitchen with mezzanine dining room overlooking the living room. It is open plan with lovely high ceilings above the kitchen.

In the living room, you can relax and unwind on two comfortable sofas with fine views of Portscatho and beyond.  A modern wood burner keeps away the chill in the evenings. From here you can access a fabulous patio and lawned garden, with comfortable garden furniture, and enviable views across the village to Porthcurnick, Pendower and Carne beaches. Perfect for relaxing on a sunny day or evening.

On the lower ground floor is a double bedroom with sea views and large fitted wardrobes. There is also a family shower room with a large double shower. The door off the living room can be shut to create a separate bedroom with ensuite shower room if preferred, ideal for grandparents, teenagers or friends.

On the first floor, is the master bedroom with king-size bed. There is also a double bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes and glorious views across the rooftops of Portscatho, towards Porthcurnick, Pendower and Carne beaches. A second family bathroom is found on this level.

There is a further garden area just before you enter front of the property. This elevated area again has a bench and superb views to the coast.

Off road parking space for one car and further on road parking.

Wi-Fi, a smart TV and a Blu-ray/dvd player

Linen and towels are provided.

High chair and cot are available.

Oil-fired central heating.

One small well behaved dog is permitted at the property.

This is a strictly non-smoking property.

Changeover day can be Friday, Saturday or Monday and there is flexibility for short breaks.

Occupancy is from 3pm on day of arrival and departure is by 10am.

Portscatho is a small active fishing port on the sheltered shores of Gerrans Bay with a small beach with safe swimming.  In the village, there is a good grocers/off licence and a butchers as well as galleries and gift shops. There are various eating and drinking options in Portscatho, including a gastro pub and taverna, and the Hidden Hut is within walking distance. The Michelin starred restaurant at The Driftwood Hotel is also nearby.
