St Michael's Coastal Cottages
St Michael's Coastal Cottages are pleased to offer a selection of quality self-catered cottages, houses and apartments located in the historic town of Marazion, the gateway to the magnificent island of St Michael's Mount.
All of the properties that we offer are handpicked and because we are a small family-owned company living and based in Marazion we are able to provide you with the sort of warm welcome and personal service perhaps not available from larger more remote agencies. We offer terrific value for money whilst not compromising on quality and standards of accommodation. Whether you’re looking for somewhere large enough for a family holiday, a romantic getaway for two, a pert friendly property or an exclusive luxury apartment, every St Michaels Coastal Cottage offers comfortable and well appointed self-catering holiday accommodation in the magnificent seaside setting of Marazion.
Why stay in Marazion? The major draw of Marazion is because it is the gateway to the magnificent island castle of St Michael’s Mount. Whether you walk across the causeway or are ferried over at high tide, a visit to the Mount must rate highly in the wish list of any holiday maker – young and old. Marazion's wide sandy beaches provide opportunity for a host of seaside activities including sailing, wind or kite surfing, swimming, fishing, rock pooling, stand up paddle board and kayaking: or you can simply relax, make sandcastles and take in the stunning views of St Michaels Mount. The long distance walking route 'South West Coast Path' passes though Marazion and for nature lovers there is a RSPB nature reserve at Marazion Marsh and dolphin spotting sailing boat trips in Mounts Bay from nearby Penzance. If that’s not enough Marazion is simply an ideal place to base yourself to enjoy a leisurely tour of the magnificent attractions and locations of Poldark fame between the Lizard and Lands End.
Marazion boats several fabulous award winning restaurants and traditional pubs within walking distance of our cottages. Check out Bens Cornish Kitchen – rated as one of the top 100 restaurants in the UK, but also check out The Mount Haven Hotel, The Kings Arms, The Fire Engine and the Godolphin Arms for great food and views. There are several other amazing restaurants nearby making this part of Cornwall a gastronomic and seaside paradise. Marazion also boasts a growing number of excellent galleries featuring local artists catering for all tastes and budgets.
