Newlyn is a historic working Fishing harbour- offering a traditional Cornish experience. Time has stood still in this quaint & pretty Village. There is a long history here with the arts due to its breath-taking scenery, quality of light & beaches. It’s also a foodie paradise with fresh produce of fish, cheese, cider, and ice-cream and more found at the local shops, restaurants, pubs & farmers markets. All local establishments are walking distance & very child & dog friendly.
You also benefit from the amenities of the larger town of Penzance-1 mile away. Trains from Paddington London arrive frequently throughout the day, so need for a car as there is good public transport.
