Welcome to Boskenna Home Farm

Boskenna Home Farm lies at the very centre of the historic Boskenna Estate which is situated on the south Coast of the Land’s End peninsula between Mousehole and Porthcurno and famed over the years in various films and novels such as “Summer in February” as well as home to many well known 20th century artists such as Dame Laura Knight and Alfred Munning in the Lamorna Valley.

The home farm is now our home and is a beautiful granite 200 year old Georgian Farmhouse set a around a cobbled courtyard. We farm our organically reared pedigree South Devon and Ruby Red cows suckling their calves in fields of pasture in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty looking out to sea and leading down to the Heritage Coast and South West Coastal Footpath – Poldark Country.

The 5 star gold award bed and breakfast is provided in the farmhouse and courtyard rooms. For those requiring 5 star gold award self catering accommodation, the luxury Boskenna cottage makes a perfect retreat for couples.

The best bed and breakfast...

Two spacious ground floor en suite bedroom suites, accessed directly from the farmhouse cobbled courtyard and two attractive bedrooms in the farmhouse, both en suite. One with a double bed the other a twin/double.

These rooms are very well appointed with 5’ double beds, comfortable settees, TV/DVDs. The en suite bathrooms have a bath and shower, the towels large and soft.

The rooms in the farmhouse have shower en suites. The twin/double room overlooks the peaceful and secluded garden and the other double overlooks the courtyard.

All the bedrooms have their own TV/DVD players, radio alarm clocks hairdryers, mini silent refrigerators and tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or the patio with a selection of fruit juices cereal fresh fruit yogurts. Then a full Cornish breakfast cooked fresh to order on the Aga, using home and locally sourced produce when ever possible. Alternatively opt for something lighter like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Centrally heated throughout.

Perfect getaway. The room was very comfortable with lots of nice touches. Superb breakfast. Julia was the perfect hostess, very obliging and full of useful advice. I throughly recommend Boskenna Home farm as lovely, peaceful getaway location.
