The beach is a popular one with surfers.  Known by locals as Perran Sands the beach can be confused with the beach of the same name at Perranporth.

Access - from car park is via steps or a slip way.

Please note: Dogs are welcome on this beach except between 1 May and 30 September (08:00am - 07:00pm) when a seasonal dog ban is in place.
