Porthluney Cove is a privately owned, secluded family beach with a large expanse of golden sand in front of Caerhays Castle and Gardens, which provide a striking backdrop, especially in the spring. Dog-friendly all year.

Awarded a Blue Flag in 2021 this wide expanse of golden sand is bordered by rocky outcrops ideal for rock-pooling.  Seasonal dog ban operates on this beach.
